LIFE AND TIME

My work is rooted in a documentary approach, though not limited by it. I am interested in what remains beneath the surface of everyday life: gestures, traces, and small fragments of reality that often go unnoticed.

Photography, for me, is not about explaining the world but about paying attention to it. The act of looking precedes the image. What matters is not only what is photographed, but how that attention is translated into a form that can be shared.

Many of my projects explore time and memory—how they shape both images and people. I often work with long-term processes, revisiting archives, reinterpreting past material, or observing how meaning shifts over time.

I am particularly drawn to situations where the visible and the invisible coexist: what is present, and what is fading; what is remembered, and what is being forgotten.

Ultimately, my work seeks not to impose a narrative, but to open a space where the viewer can encounter the image and, perhaps, recognise something of their own experience within it.
